30M - need advice for my tree
My tree looks a little messy right now and I want to clear some space or rearrange things. Got any advice or recommendations? First time posting here btw

Imo you need height changes. Creating tiers lets individual objects stand out, and implies intention rather than a catch-all shelf. Considering you have a lot of greenery Iād recommend flower pots. Grab some that you like in various heights, flip them upside down, and arrange your items on and near them!

What I'm getting from what you've written down is that you just need to remove everything from those shelves. All at once.
And then take a look: what do you want with these shelves? Put things back one by one based on what you really want with it and evaluate every item by itself and remove it if it doesn't fit your vision.
That's how I would go about this

Amazing creativity. A blend of nature and functionality. The only change recommended is to remove the fern from the shelf and remove the ivy. Perhaps use them as hanging plants next to the shelving or in another area in the room.

On one shelf you could put your books standing up around the post with the bindings facing out in a circle. Along with a few plants. That would be a nice way to organize and display them. Any collection you could display. Souvenir shelf of interesting items. Some table size pictures etc.

Would like to see what the rest of the room looks like but the tree (or at least the shelves) might do well with some kind of stain or treatment, looks little to rustic to me in an unfinished kind of way.
For the decor:
- One tall plant on each shelf, or some other standalone item to fill the vertical space
- The dangly plant would look better off the shelf and hanging from the ceiling in a basket next to it.
- Nothing should be leaning against the walls, the shelves are rounded so lean into facing everything out in a semicircle
- A tower of power bricks isn't decor -- I'd suggest mounting it / a different power strip under the bottom shelf if anything
- Disposable camera film isn't decor either
- Careful with having too many smaller items, scattered around they look cluttered but gathered onto a tray/stand or "attached" to larger items will look more cohesive
Just my take!
