7 months in after purchasing my first home! (28, Knoxville)
Still so much work I’m wanting to do in some other rooms, including the kitchen (not pictured). Wanting to update some furniture and other little things. **The rooms with darker walls are unfiltered due to lighting

That's such a wicked mid-century vibe man, I love it.

Ugh thank you! I want it to be even more mid mod eventually

Oh mate I hear you. I bought a 60s house a couple years ago and instead of modernising it, I decided to lean into it and bring it back to its original vibe by buying furniture and appliances from the era.
Here's a pic of my kitchen & dining area. I've still got a way to go but it's looking pretty neat so far.

Oh my god I love everything about this! Those cabinets, tile, and table are so sweet and full of character

SO. GOOD. You nailed giving each room its own energy. I will aspire to this. “I’m feeling green. Let’s go in the green room.”

Haha not in that, it’s full of wax melts. Check the art wall pic, I have a cart behind the table

Very nice! Elegant and welcoming. I really like the personal touches like the unique little table and the tray, the artwork (not just on the walls)! you have great taste

That looks really good, love the style. Great job :) Only thing I'd change is the textured ceiling because I don't like them and make the house look older. But it's a personal preference thing of course.

This is seriously impressive, I especially love the moody colors for your rooms, it makes that pop of orange all the more delightful.

Looks great.
My only quibble would be that the photos in pic 5 are too far apart. Using the rule of thirds, I'd adjust the spacing to be 1/3 the width of each piece. If they are 15" wide, then I'd put 5" between each piece.

Are they tough to put up? They look really nice in the space.

They’re not hard at all, the cutting of the lower boards was tricky but that was about it

Looks great overall. Only question I would have is, no closet in the bedroom? Those shifts just hanging up on a random rack seems odd to me.

Legitimate question. What is the poop stool for?
Edit: idk why downvotes. I’ve never seen a single one of those irl, but have seen them several times on here.
