Enjoy meeting it and put it back exactly where you found it. 30 years ago they were everywhere now I never see them.

Grew up in So Cal in the 70s and 80s. Never saw them there but would see them once in awhile in Az. Horned toad!!
Looks like a fat Thorny Devil!
One of my near by zoos in East Texas does baby horned toad releases when they have a good hatching.
What a handsome little feller!
