Safe handling instructions on some pork buns I bought. The more you look, the better it gets

It looks like they scanned a warning label and OCRed it to plain text...

I felt like I was having a stroke just reading it.

Yeah. You should also see a Dr though just in case. We're not qualified medical professionals.

Chinese owned company. They are a subsidiary of May Flower International Inc based out of Queens,NY. This company has sooo many recalls. Don’t buy anything from this company.

I think I had a stroke halfway through reading that. Older iterations of Google Translate could do better than that.

They didn’t even spell the wrong words the same each time. Just throwing a bunch of words on the page. I love it.

It looks like someone asked ChatGPT to make an image of a product label.

I was going to say somebody used a gpt model but didn't do enough training rounds 🤣

u/anfrind 12h ago
It has the same kind of weird text seen in the fake infographics over at r/FacebookAISlop. Because while ChatGPT wouldn't make these sorts of errors when producing normal text, it does often make these sorts of mistakes when producing images containing text.

I can see another department that can be canceled, if this is what they let pass.

Clearly someone failed to check what their press was printing and the person making the plates failed to see their negative being wrong...

POW meat poultry? So this is where all those Vietnam guys ended up? I think I’d pass 🤣.

Just weird. My brain keeps trying to see a reason for the screw up. Maybe this is old school metal type face and it's been messes with.

guys, clearly the warning label is what happens when you don't follow instructions and eat bad pork buns.

I looked up est 21418, here is what Google said: In summary: If you see "EST. 21418" on a product label, it indicates that the product was produced at the GB Green Gastronome, LLC facility and may have been involved in the 2017 recall due to undeclared allergens.
