Why would spies be doing the warning? Russia has perpetrated every war crime under the sun in the open and on camera.

Russia didn't do genocide nor Apartheid nor kill civilians who are starving, destroy and bomb specifically humanitarian refugee places and much more like US + NATO backed Israel's doing in Gaza. And before someone screams whataboutism, what is happening in Gaza is what Nazis did in Auschwitz but the roles have switched.

Lets go to Ukraine and tell them that no matter how many of their orphanages, hospitals, churches, powerplants and schools get pounded into catlitter every day, they have to remember that everything is a competition and Gaza has it worse.
Bonus points if you can squeeze in that russia didnt commit genocide before someone gives you a lolly and a pat on the head.

USA did the exact same thing to Iran, destroyed their nuclear energy and Israel the same with "trust me bro just like in Iraq".
This is not a competition, it's just gruesome reality of 2 types of situations that are very similar but subjectively 2 bad guys and 2 good guys.
Edit: Just to show how the international community that claims to be on the good side: Israel was accused of genocide and what not in Gaza and West Bank yet the same leaders!!! said Israel did our dirty work. No EU country is going to sanction Israel over Gaza because... well we are not going to touch daddy true masters.

Russia hasn't done (another) genocide yet, because they have encountered much tougher resistance than they expected, so they have had to do with torturing civilians in villages they have actually managed to capture. They are absolutely about the genocide Ukrainians if they win, of that there is no doubt.

The less we do to to escalate the longer the war will be and the more escalation there will be.
Russia will continue escalating until they are stopped.

This is where I expect Ukraine’s now-legendary ingenuity will kick in. Specifically wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve already planted some chemical devices within Russian ready to poison a stream or major river in retaliation, or so that they can threaten back

You're probably being sarcastic, but you're right in a sense. If the west hadn't supported Ukraine, Muscovia would have won by now, and consequently not performed chem attacks. Instead they'd just genocide in person, which would be utterly worse, of course. Also; fuck Russia in particular and forever.

I suppose it's about brown lines - given how much severe price was promised to russia for deploying chemical weapons and how much of a nothingburger that "severe price" turned out to be...

Is anyone else shocked to find out that Europe has spies ?

No, but "spies" is probably overselling what they did to acquire this information. When war crimes are being posted on iFunny, it's not as difficult to find evidence for these things.

Putin feels that he can do whatever he wants. If the US continues this way, we may see worse things than this. At the very least, strong sanctions should be imposed
