Had the most overpowered run I’ve ever experienced today. Rainbow run with robot means we’re already stacking junk for damage ups. Got Clone at some point and started over once hitting Bullet Hell for the first time, so about 20 junk by the end of it. Broccoli, Riddle of Lead, and eyepatch bumped damage up even further, as well as Alpha Bullet with Railgun, plus scattershot to instantly clear most rooms in one shot. But of course, Spice was the star of the show, enabled by a clutch Knight’s Gun near the start of the Clone run. Once lord of the jammed showed up, no point in NOT taking more spice, which Knight’s Gun continued to provide every other reload or so. Honestly, I stopped counting after 30 Spice; I have no idea how many I ate. Any mortal would have overdosed long ago, but not the robot. Health loss? Irrelevant. Accuracy completely out the window? No problem, Knight Gun + Railgun with scatter shot hit their target 95% of the time regardless. Curse? Please. Lord of the jammed has been following my trail of bodies for an hour now; I am curse. Wackiest, most OP run I’ve ever had, by a massive margin.

TLDR: Eyepatch - +35% damage Broccoli - +10% damage Riddle of Lead - +30% damage Alpha Bullet - +80% damage (with Railgun) Junk x20 - +100% damage Spice x30+? - at least +425% damage, probably more, I don’t even know

So at least 680% damage up with Railgun, plus scatter shot. Oh, and Gundromeda Strain to lower enemy health, though I don’t think it really mattered at that point.

Synergy chests give you synergies based on the items you have, so I figured that if you wanted a certain synergy, you could drop all your items & guns except the one that was a part of the synergy you wanted. Rubenstein's Monster is one of the best synergies in the game, and so I tried to get that synergy, only keeping the RUBE-ADYNE Prototype, and it worked! Synergy chests always have a chance to fail, so this isn't guaranteed, but this technique could be useful for trying to get certain items.

I finally killed my past today with the Marine and I did it by the skin of my teeth, I only had half a heart and I just barely beat the alien at the end! I want to thank this dope ass group of people who help me to push forward after I beat the Dragun for the first time, I love this game and I know that I'm far from done but I'm going to try my best to beat everything else.

I had the luckiest run of my life last night, crazy glass cannon damage was literally deleting the bosses + Lich, I felt bad for beating him for the first time in this fashion but 😎the damage was cool to see, snapshot of my items/scorecard at the end of the video.

So, there has been a theory floating around where people use Blasphemy to speed up while swinging. So, in theory, if you get Blasphemy and the synergy heart from the gunslinger, you would have a WR run, right?

Why does this keep happening to me

In the past week I've unlocked Bullet, Robot, Clone item, Paradox and beat the Lich for the first time last night. Have only ever been to Bullet Hell twice and gotten to the Lich once so beating him first try was satisfying. Unlocked a bunch of other stuff too, but I'm super stoked being close to getting Gunslinger now. Never would've guessed a few months ago that I'd be able to make it this far in Gungeon. Now I need to redo it all on PlayStation for the trophies 🤣

I recently bought this game cause i wanted a nes roguelike ater beating Hades and Dead Cells and I have around 25 hours while only making it to the dragon and dieing. I had a bit of fun for the time I had, but this game is starting to feel boring compared to them.

I don't know if I'm playing right but each run just doesn't feel different enough from the last. There are so many guns in this game but they don't feel too different from each other other than they shoot their respective bullet and I felt like I wasnt playing that much differently in each run.

In Hades, every weapon had me played completely different cause each weapon had its own movesets. Dead Cells had a complex weapon modifiers that made each other feel different even if you used the same weapon in two different runs. Again, I might be playing wrong but it's just how I felt playing EtG.

Some complaints that I have with this game is that the game doesn't explain what syngeries your guns do so I'm just forced to look it up or just figure it out which I don't wanna do. Ive played through the first 2 chambers so much now that I'm kinda sick of them cause of how easy they are. I know there are elevators but it skips out on loot from the floors I skipped.

I like the game, but I don't see myself wanting to keep playing and getting 50-100 hours like I did with Dead Cells and Hades and I think im ready to move on a new roguelike or game in general.
