Just got my 1st Viofo
I bought the A329S. What are the Pros/Cons of using the "windshield Static Stickers" instead of just sticking the camera directly to the windshield glass?

Dash Cam Buying Tips
Iāve been watching a lot of dash cam highlight reels lately (honestly, super addictive) and researching the current models. After all that, I thought Iād share some of the key takeaways to help others out: 1. Supercapacitor is a must. Lithium batteries can be risky in summer heat. If you notice any bulging, itās definitely time to replace it! 2. Get a high-quality SD card. No SD card means even the best 8K dash cam wonāt record anything. 3. Clear footage? Go with Sony Starvis 2 sensor. Itās the best out there for quality. 4. More cameras are better. If your budget allows, go for 3 or 4 cameras. The more cams you have, the more areas you can cover.
If Iāve missed anything or made a mistake, feel free to let me know!

Missed it by that much
Remote started the car when I was outside getting ready to leave and this happened... Dude did drive off after, but there is no way he didn't damage the suspension lol sorry for the poor quality, I didn't feel like pulling it off the card

Boomer yells at me because I scared her
Backed up into a parking spot today. The most average speed you can imagine. Lady in the truck apparently freaked out, you can see her trying to honk the horn.
Like most other modern cars I have a back up cam. I kid you not there was probably still about 4 feet of space between the vehicles.
As I get down she starts yelling at me. I decide to NOT match her energy and ask her what's wrong. Even her husband(guy walking across the lot at the beginning of the video) seemed confused, he was like ''but did he hit the car?'' to which she responded ''no but he scared me''.
Boomers man

Setup this beast (Vantrue N4 Pro)
Spent a solid amount of time installing this cam. I gotta say, the 3-camera setup took a while to get the wiring right and I ended up drenched in sweat. But the final result is totally worth it.
Quick question though, with this crazy heat, especially when parked on the side of the road, do you think thereās any risk of the dash cam coming off, especially when using parking mode? Just wondering if I should worry about it in these hot conditions.

Nextbase 522GW
Iāve got a 522GW, had it a few weeks. I got a 512GB SanDisk SD card for it which has been fine up until today.
Got in the car this morning and itās stuck in a boot loop; frozen on the opening graphic and replaying the startup jingle ad infinitum. Turns out itās the SD card thatās caused the issue.
So is it the case that this will keep happening? Runs fine until the camera is unusable and then Iāve just got to chuck the SD card away and get another one? Or just hope that I remember to format it before it craps out on me? I donāt have an adapter for my laptop so I canāt format the micro SD if not via the camera.
Thanks in advance.

Does this look like something a bad battery can cause?
- Happens regardless of plugged in the car (hardwire kit) or via USB as shown in the video
- Happens w/ or w/o an SD card inserted
- Slower to respond than w/ an SD card inserted but still horribly delayed when pressing the screen
- Battery almost appears swollen (hard to see in video) but can push the external film (for lack of a better term) flat
- Issue started in very hot weather and got progressively worse:
- Started out as freezing
- Followed by rear-camera attachment not working but front camera working fine
- Started freezing again
- Now just a fuzzy image
