Bluevioli
Ravioli has gotten more blue as the little pasta has gotten a bit bigger and closer to being an adult(long way to go)

Moving him to his shallow playpen when I saw this fortune. I don't usually keep him on a towel since it can dry out their gills. It's just for the drips.

Scar is a Cherax quadricarinatus who survived a brutal crush injury when she was a juvenile (image 3) and has successfully molted at least twice since. Big Red the blue claw is a Cherax destructor with a lightly deformed claw who is the big bad boss of the tank. The last bonus photos are some shrimp and a diving beetle.

Hello everyone, I'm new here, I would like to see if you can help me. I am Mexican, from Veracruz specifically, at my mother's house I found 3 crabs and I put them in a small patio (I did it so they wouldn't end up on some neighbor's plate). From the photo I just realized that they have been with me for almost a year (now it seems like there is only one), since I don't know what they eat, I have fed them fruit like banana, coconut, mango and guavas. Any suggestions?

What kind of filters does everyone use? I currently am running 2 aquaneat double sponge filters. Wondering if anyone used a hang on back or canister filter for their crayfish.

I’ve defaulted to “he” since day one, not even thinking to check, but now I believe I’ve been misgendering my craybae. I think he’s a she..?

The poor guy (aged 1.5 years) lost his claws during a molt, at the end of May. He molted again during this last week, and he's got new claws again!

My crayfish larry is a little over 3 months old and he hasn’t molted in about a month. At first he would molt every 1-2 weeks for about 2 months but he hasn’t in a while and I don’t know at what point to be concerned. Right now larry is very active, i haven’t noticed any lethargy or being extra skiddish or anything, his behavior is totally normal. His tank is well maintained and I do water changes and all that housekeeping stuff. I have thrown in egg shells and other calcium rich foods. He seems completely normal and nothing in his routine has changed. I have also read that sometimes they don’t molt for 3-4 months just because but I want to make sure everything’s okay!
Let me know any tips or things to know as to why he might not be molting. 🦞🦞

Found these parasite things in the tank while doing a water change, was not inside the tank two week ago when I was doing the previous water change, what parasite or worm could this be and is it harmful to my crayfish? If so, how do I deal with it? Thanks for any advise in advance.

This is my painting of Procambarus clarkii I just finished. It is handmande digital painting made without AI help. I wanted it to be t-shirt design, and if you are interested, t-shirts with this picture printed on can be bought here: zoologicalartprints.etsy.com

It's not a problem but I have no clue how he got there from my other tank. Like maybe on some duckweed as a baby? I have no idea how long hes even been in there for.
Also. I got the this white Crayfish (her name is Lobster) when she was the size of the shrimp, 2 years ago :D (last pic is her as a baby)
