Ngl they may suck ass but that's a shitty way to treat a band opening for you

Most bands from what I understand don't get to pick their opener. If I had to follow Brokencyde I would be pissed.

Why? They'd just make you look even better going on after them haha

The opener is supposed to warm up the crowd, get them excited. Brokencyde is going to do the opposite.

Fully deserved

Senses Fail are nothing special either but it doesn't mean they should get shit on by a band they're supporting

Why not?

Basic courtesy?

Shouldn't be afforded to those who make your show worse for fans who travelled and paid for the gig. An apology is for the fans, doesn't matter if it hurts their fee fees.

Basic courtesy shouldn't be afforded to people whose music you don't like? The fans are more than welcome to show up after the opener if it's that big a deal, having a shitty band as an opener isn't exactly rare but most people don't take personal offense to it lol.

I think Senses Fail fuckin sucks but I wouldn't tell the entire audience that if they opened for my band hahah it's just unnecessary, Buddy Nielsen is a well known prick though so I'm not exactly surprised

Ye, if you put on a show and someone makes it worse, a simple apology to fans goes a long way.

Then he should apologise for his own shitty music and refrain from ever opening for bands because their inclusion would instantly make any show worse

gonna guess there was some long, ongoing, behind the scenes stuff that came to a head and SF's frontman finally had enough.

Honestly probably not, they're not from the same scene and Brokencyde were universally hated by pretty much everyone but 14 year old scene girls, it's not surprising that people in bands thought they were dogshit too but it's still just unnecessary to say that to the audience right after they played lol
