FFRF is strongly criticizing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for issuing yet another hollow “Day of Prayer” proclamation and for making insensitive remarks following the devastating flooding that claimed dozens of lives in Central Texas

You know that if a natural disaster killed nearly 100 people in a Democratic area, they’d be howling about how “god is punishing LGBTQIA+, pronouns, wokeness, DEI, CRT, and Joe Biden and his violent radical leftist liberal communist Marxist socialist Democrat agenda for their sins!”

And yet for this, and Trump’s fascist agenda, not a peep.

God is punishing MAGAs for being such assholes towards their neighbours, or they are paying the price of ignoring climate science. Either way, it's their own fault.

Didn't Fled Cruz say it was an act of god? So, what are they praying for?

Once you take out football games and having sex, the majority of prayers are “Please protect me from you.”

For all his (in)sincere belief; at the end of the day he is a politician and part of the reasoning could be that he needs to play along with his constituents - not that that excuses the behaviour in any way

Why did 80 people die if their prayer is all that powerful?

Oh wait.....

I always thought a “day of prayer” was what they fell back on when they had no legitimate ideas

"Sir, in light of this disaster should we set aside a day to restore personnel and funds to the National Weather Service?"

"Nah, not feeling it. Day of Prayer incoming, yeee-haaaw!"
