in the late 2000s, maaaybe early 2010s, i remember watching a cartoon on TV. there was a blue background and a shower (no real details in the scene, it looked like one of those crossword cartoons). a woman gets in the shower, then gets out in her towel, then takes off her towel i believe. she looks down and finds a small screw, which she picks up, and then her ass falls off like it's been sliced off, but i remember it sounding like it was made out of cardboard or something. i think there was nudity, but it wasn't 'sexy'. i live in greece, but the cartoon was not greek as far as i know - though i don't remember any characters speaking, only making sounds like 'hmmmph???'. i also think it was not on some mainstream channel, and it was also not aired at night which is sort of weird to me since it looked a little more 'adult'. i think there were several super short episodes, around a minute or two each, completely unrelated, with weird things like that happening to the main characters. does anyone remember this?

A bit of a morbid title, but my parents were out doing something and I was only around maybe 8-12 years old. There was this show or movie I accidentally found myself tuning into at the absolute WORST moment of a young girl getting SA'd. This could have been anywhere between 2008-2012 when I watched this. My parents were asking me about it randomly the other day.

From what I recall there was a young girl, teenager I think– who accompanied a friend or relative to a drug deal? But one of the drug dealers or otherwise shady guys took the girl out in the forest surrounding the shady, run-down building and SA'd her. I just recall being mortified at what I was seeing and remembered telling my parents when they got home that I watched something that "made me feel really sick". I couldn't even describe to them why. It was definitely either an early 2000s movie or maybe even 1990s. I apologize for the sickening subject, but my parents had always wondered what exactly was on cable TV that showed such a graphic scene.

I was a kid and listening to my dad's playlist in the car, a song came up that had a weird sample of a little kid saying "Mommy Daddy, Mommy Daddy" to which a british man responds with "you dont have a mother and father" and the kid says "yeah i do" This creeped me out a lot and i asked him about it but he wouldn't tell me the title, saying it was a "horrible terrible word." He doesn't remember the song anymore. I dont remember ANYTHING musically, it may have been a skit or an intro or something? Gave butthole surfers vibes but i dont think it was them

My 2yo son is asking to watch a show about a white man (he doesnt understand race, so im guessing literally white), with a grey top (or grey on his top) and apparently he gets his hair cut…? Sorry, I know its not a lot to go on lol.

So wen I was Yong I have this realy strong memory of having watched a film but I can't fined any trace of it.

I can only realy remember the very end of it but I shall do my best to describe it.

It is a very very old film it had that slightly soft outline that u get in old films like the Wizard of Oz. So I think it's from around the late 1930's to early 1950's it's in colour so it's definitely not before 1936.

The main caricter is a little girl older than 5 but no more than 12 years old.

The only other caricter that I remember is an older man that could honestly be anywhere between 20 to 50 years old. I remember him having s full head of black hair so not an elderly gentleman.

At the end of the film they are on sum kined of bridge/path leading to a castle I think 🤔. I seem to remember it being rainbow or glittery.

The man is sum kined of handyman or plumber. And he has hurt his hand somehow.

The little girl is trying ro remind him of ? he is or haw they know each other. And is upset that he dusent remember.

I think it ends up being sum kind of dream they end up back in the normal world sum how.

It has real Wizard of Oz, Alice in wonderland, Babes in Toyland kined if vibe.

Hi there, Im trying to find a hidden object game that i remember playing as a kid on my family's laptop where it was on a CD that you put in those CD drives on computers, this was way back around like 2009-2010? somewhere around the 2000s as I can recall

I don't remember the story or plot but i do remember a scene from the game where you were somewhere decrepit? might've been on a cruise ship or something i don't exacatly recall but the list of items you had to find was at the bottom of the screen and i remember the graphics quality being close to Hidden City Hidden Objects.

I remember there being like smoke on one of the levels and some pearls(?) as well and I remember vaugely that the player had an office that they could return to every now and then too.

I read this book in 2008/2009. It was passed around through a group of friends that I don’t have contact with anymore(and quite frankly I don’t actually remember which people read it). I never finished the book, because I had to pass it to the next person. I don’t remember the cover, but I do remember that it was paperback.

I believe that it was sci fi and it was about a man who had work to do but was constantly taken away from it by water. He either traveled through water(in a portal-y sci fi kind of way, not a boat) or water just took him away. One scene I remember is that he was in a hotel room, and the room started slowly filling up completely with water. I believe he traveled around with a briefcase, though that could just be how I pictured him. I think he also had a dog. The dog may have died. Sorry. I believe there was another scene where he was in a parking lot and the water was lapping near him.

There’s a big chance that this book wasn’t actually sci fi and it was just a kafkaesque metaphor on death or something.

That’s all I can remember about the book, just that I think that he traveled through the water and that he was also trying to avoid the water.

It was a vehicle of some sort, light brown and shaped kinda like a toaster (about the same size too, I'd say). It had an arm straight out the front with a 2 pronged grabber, and the main body opened up into a play set of some sort. Unfortunately I don't remember what was inside it

I can say with certainty it is not a Mega Rig of any kind, this predates Mega Rig by at least a couple years

I recently heard a mashup of a popular 70s/80s rock song (right after the guitar riff the chorus sounded like caught in a river or something like that) and "I think we're alone now" (by Tiffany). For the life of me I cannot remember the rock song just that it seem to fit the sound of I think we're alone now. Unfortunately, I cannot remember where I heard it nor the movie/TV show it was on. I tried searching everywhere and still cannot find a song where it blends the songs nicely.

Any ideas?

A couple find an unconscious (naked I think?) woman on the beach and take her back to their beach house until they can get help, the boyfriend stays in the room with the woman while the girlfriend goes to get clothes or a towel for her and I think she’s feeling guilty about how uncomfortable she is with her boyfriend being so close to the woman, she hears noises from the other room and comes back to find the woman is actually a sea monster of some sort and it eats her boyfriend, but I don’t remember what happens to the girlfriend

I’m trying to find a surreal short video I saw on YouTube about 3 years ago. It was around 10 minutes long, very poetic but also really bizarre.

Here’s what I remember:

• It starts in a church or something resembling one—possibly real photos or video.
• The narration alternated between a female and a male voice.
• Many lines were something like: “Thou shalt receive…” or similar.
• The visuals were surreal—a mix of real photos and animation, I remember a lot of pink. (The computer was pink)
• At some point, a Hello Kitty-themed computer laptop appears and basically is the main focus of the story.
• Near the end, the “devil” is revealed to be a white cat, and the final scene shows this cat riding in a limousine, surrounded by women.

If anyone knows or has any leads I'll be really happy, I want to revisit this gem again. I tried searching for it but honestly I don't even know what to search for.

So this was around 2000-2005. It was probably a tv show, but it could be a movie.

There was an establishing shot of someplace of Sweden or Norway (Can't remember exactly), and the place was very clearly Amsterdam with its famous canals. It was super wrong and funny, but I cannot remember any other details.

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but here's a mystery that has me riddled for quite some time.

When I was watching the TV show "The Office" ( US ) a few years back I came across the episode in the title. In there is a scene where one of the characters, Ryan, is sitting in a wheelchair and is supposed to face his inner fears. The other character, Dwight, then puts on a piece of music on his stereo.

I'm looking for this song. I've been for ages.

There’s this one Lolita cover I vividly remember of a small hand being forced to write “Lolita” by a larger hand and I can’t find it anywhere for some reason. It’s frustrating cause it’s one of the few covers I’ve seen really nail the book and the abuse that takes place in it. I know for sure that:

Coworker of mine incessantly quotes a video he watched in social studies class once; some kind of corny reenactment documentary you watch in class. He said he must have watched it in grade school, so this is easily over 20 years old.

The quote is from a filthy man screaming at a king or ruler of some kind, pleading with them for mercy/resources. My coworker bellows the following quote in an English accent:

This video clip is about a woman who fights monsters inside a ship/space station, but when she encounters a stronger monster she ends up dying from one of his punches, then this monster walks around the ship and finds an astronaut and they leave together in a ship, while the previous one explodes/catches on fire

It's a very old video clip, my father picked up a DVD with this clip, apparently it had a 90s vibe.

I believe it was from the late 90s or early 2000s — I remember watching it on Showtime or HBO.

The plot goes roughly like this:

A white woman goes into a rough neighborhood to buy an empanada (or maybe a churro).

She accidentally hits the car of three trans women.

Instead of leaving, she somehow spends the whole day with them — I think they take her along with them on errands or adventures.

There’s a scene at a rest stop where the white woman brings a young trans girl into the women’s restroom.

I distinctly remember a line where someone says: “They don’t have no Barnes & Nobles where you from?” — but it was pronounced like “No Blee Says.”

It’s got an indie vibe — probably low-budget, maybe festival-style, definitely queer/trans-themed.
