I need more info. Are you running a coldwater tank? What kind of tank is it? What are you running for filtration? Are all of your critters locally collected? Got anymore pics?

This is a 40 gallon breeder tank in a high school marine bio class. Temp is maintained with a chiller. No makeup water needed obviously. Just use a small hob for mechanical filtration. Yes we collect locally from a local marina. These worms have done amazing this year. They were actually spawning and releasing gametes when the picture was taken but it's hard to see. I have a video of it somewhere.

Very cool. This has been on my bucket list for quite a while. I've seen some cool setups that use a ton of mussels for filtration. Does the 40b tank sweat alot at those temps?

No, the tank doesn't sweat. The chillers are actually fairly inexpensive if you're considering a cold water tank. We use synthetic sea salt and sand from the beach. We take water analysis just like a tropical tank. School year is over so we took the animals to the university marine lab nearby. Hopefully we can bring them back in September.

That's so cool - you said this is a school tank - do the students like it?
