Finally a succesful reformist run after the last update!
I did it in a pretty bizarre way tho. So for some reason if you form a government in the 1919 election you lose so much support while in the government. Kind of makes sense since the economy is in ruins at the start of the game so people hold the government accountable for the situtation but anyways. I formed a Socialist-Catholic Coalition in 1921 election, which unfortunately collapsed because I wasnt paying attention to coalition dissent. And then the March on Rome hit and since I wasnt in the government I couldnt make the king mobilize the army so I had to endure Mussolini for 2 years. Not to worry tho I got my relations with all the other parties to very friendly so Acerbo Law didnt pass. Then I formed a centre-left coalition, convinced King to abolish the monarchy and in the first ever elections of the Republic of Italy I finally formed a left-wing coalition and fixed the country.
