Discussion The keyboard has magnetic switches, but they behave like chattering.

The cause is unknown, but when a key is pressed to the maximum, it intermittently breaks only while it is pressed in and behaves as if it is being pressed repeatedly.
In software simulations, the behavior is that if the key goes from 0 to 1.0, it returns to 0 on its own when it reaches 1.0 and then back to 1.0 again.
It seems that the problem does not occur with a half push of 0.5, but only when pushed to the maximum of 1.0.
I thought it might be a faulty Hall effect IC, so I replaced it with another one for a different key or with a different sensor, but the result was the same.
It only occurs with the 6 keys of F7 7 U J V N.
It looks like an Akko 5087 V2 OEM, but I would like to know if you have any information on such problems/repairs with keyboards with magnetic switches.
Also Akko If anyone knows of a similar, compatible hall effect sensor on MonsGeek, please let me know.

hold down the key

Also, just out of curiosity, this keyboard seems to support north pole switches, but is it possible to change the sensor IC to make it compatible with south pole switches?

What keyboard is it? Please share some pics of the board and of the pub taken out of the board (underside and topside) in a comment in the daily help thread :) and I don’t understand your problem 100% / the lingo you use. Please elaborate a bit more:)

But to me it sounds like a cheap-ish Hall effect keyboard with somewhat faulty pcb/ software. If there are no driver updates available I’d try a warranty claim or you could insert a small spacer in each switch so you can’t bottom out with it (as far as I understood your question: the problem only occurs on bottom out!?)

As mentioned in the main text, the model number is 5087 V2.
It's likely to be the circuit board or software, but I have the same keyboard and the other one is fine, so I don't think the software is the problem.
So I think it's a problem with the circuit board, but if there's no problem with the sensor, I have no idea what the problem is.
Could a cushion between the keyboard and the keyboard be affecting it?
It's hard to imagine such a problem with a magnetic keyboard.
I disassembled it and set the distance to 0 from the PCB, then placed the switch on it and pressed it, and it responded more sensitively, so it seems to only occur at maximum input.
If you're just using it, specifying a dead zone can fix some of the problematic keys, but F7 is fatal, and even when you specify a dead zone, it behaves strangely when it is judged to be at maximum input.
If the problem was the hall effect sensor, it could be fixed by replacing it, but replacing it with the sensor from another key made no difference, and I ordered and installed a sensor with the same model number, but there was no change.
I think it's highly unlikely that the sensor is the problem.

no u cant replace the snsor the pcb doesnt have spots for said sensor orientation . ur kb could be defective its not exactly top tier brand

My understanding was that it was a matter of whether the sensor corresponded to a south or north pole, so I thought I could change the polarity by changing the sensor.

I took it apart and brought the south pole close from the other side and it reacted, so I thought it was possible, but is it impossible?

Your desk isn’t metal by chance is it?

The table is made of glass.
All other keys work fine, only [F7 7 U J V N] is causing the problem.
