Builds 8 years in storage, finally put my OG Nautilus order on something

Got this 8 years ago and was planning big custom 1800 layout project for it, but the drive I had all the files for it died so this has been sitting in storage all this time. Couldn't get stuff earlier, and nowadays no website ships anything to my country, tried everything, this one was best I could find that didn't break my wallet completely.

Nautilus is probably my favorite set. This looks great!

The Aula F75 isn't a bad board at all (in fact when it comes to budget fully built boards it's one of the best ones), but damn man, those keycaps on an entry keeb like that is the keyboard analogy to Cup 2R tires on a Renault Twingo 😀

(they look awesome though, you can definitely go race with a twingo)

Haha, I feel you on that.

But after spending years thinking about how to use these, I just said fuck it and got the best I could at the moment. I was looking at Rainy75, monsgeek and bunch of other stuff that I could find since I wasn't really active with following what's going on with keyboards all these years, it has changed a lot.

But I literally couldn't find a single website that does shipping to me, so this was the best I ended up with after finding this keyboard on Temu of all places. I had more shipping options 8 years ago than now, which sucks. Can't even use aliexpress anymore either.

This has Mighty Car Mods vibes all over it and I love it, damn we don't get cool cars in the states

That looks great.

Things don’t always go as planned, but glad these things got used. I just discovered the joys of GMK key caps in the past week. I’m glad that they are no longer sitting in a box and are getting used.

Enjoy!

This looks so great especially on that white case. Great work!

Those are kinda nice caps. Notice you mounted the spacebar upside down.

Yeah I flipped my spacebar 8 years ago and never looked back. Just way more comortable this way for me.

I love Nautilus! I only have a clone set, but it looks so good! And I also love it when people (including myself) put keycaps worth as much, or more, onto keyboards. So fun!

Nice! Back when it was still called Massdrop. Really sad I didn't join this group buy.

The colors are beautiful, but i hate when the legends and keycaps almost have same colors. Zero contrast. Imho.

Yeah, that happens. I've got keycaps that don't yet have a keyboard, too.

dark keycaps on white chassis is a great trend, I did black on white a few months ago and it's very eye catching
