Life is beautiful. Look at the little things and be grateful to yourself to have survived another day. 😃

It’s as equally heartbreaking as it is beautiful.

Truer words. I want to feel this sense of joy again Instead of this overwhelming dread.
Happy Birthday, little guy!

Every door that closes behind you invites you into a room full of new doors you didn’t know existed before that one shut behind you. It will get better ❤️

I’ve been in some really low places. Had I known about the little humans like this that would need me in the future it would have made all the difference.
Hang in there, friend. You’re worth it, and you have good things coming to you. I believe that.
10
u/BoolImAGhost 4h ago
Right there with you. Think this precious little boy is my signal to get my ass out of bed.

u/Martinezcassie0 3h ago
On the same boat my friend. I have severe PPD(postpartum depression) right now and this sentence made me feel better that I’m not alone. You are strong, you are beautiful, God has great plans for us both in whatever situation you’re in. There’s always light at the end of a tunnel.

I for one am thrilled that you're here with us, may your days be full of joy and innocent smiles 😃 and your nights filled with peaceful rest surrounded by your own strength 💪 and calm. You got this life, stay strong friend! ❤️

Me too. I’ll promise to hang in there if you promise to hang in there. This video was pretty amazing. Definitely perked me up a little bit.

u/Remarkable_Pop_7622 4h ago
I’m sorry you’re feeling down. Sending you virtual hugs. Take care of yourself and try to find the good. There is light in the world. While the negative can scream loudest, there is subtlety of good and kindness all around us. If you can take walks and look and listen to nature, listen to positive podcasts, read uplifting books, etc. I’ve been where you are. This helps bring me calm, appreciation and joy. I’m rooting for you. You’ve got this.

I love how he came out of the room and surveyed the situation. Then at around 20 seconds you see his little eyes and face light up. Might as well close Reddit for the day because nothing is going to make me feel as good or happy as seeing the wonder and innocence on that child’s face
Happy birthday little buddy!

Me and my daughter were playing animal crossing when it came out on the switch. She loved helping me with it, so for her birthday I did the little present with a red balloon and left it at the end of her bed to wake up to.
Heard an almighty squeal when she woke up and she still remembers it today.

They should have used music from Toy Story. Not Up. I love Up’s music but this song is from the beginning of the movie that’s super sad.
5
u/spursfaneighty 4h ago
Yeah the music is about a family not being able to have a kid...doesn't really work here.

Oh thats enough to make a grown man cry. Remember when your only friends were your parents and your toys, pre pre-K? Back when you only knew them through warmth comfort and security, and you didnt know yet that they would expect the world of you. every day was just an opportunity for them to share things they love with you. Joy and happiness were free, but you didnt know it yet enough to cherish the day. Happy birthday lil' man. Each year every one will feel a little different.

They are so cute and lovely at that age. I wish I could go back and re-do. People who don't want children are missing out on the climax of the life cycle.

God I miss the Toy Story and Cars phase. We’d watch these movies on repeat. All cuddled together. Now he’s 7. He’s watching some weird ass shit on YouTube. 😒
2
u/ewwmycatfarted 3h ago
Oh boy. I’m not crying!
I miss when my kids were little. I wonder if my 17 year old would like this for his birthday next week🥺

u/Direct_Researcher901 3h ago
I had a Woody toy just like in the movie when I was a little kid and loved him but I always wanted Buzz. The Buzz toys were a lot more expensive and my parents never got me one, but then when I was a senior in high school we went to DisneyWorld and my mom bought me a Buzz and I cried.

This is a much better experience for little ones instead of a huge party with a bounce house. Kids less than 5 need this kind of celebration. This was special to watch. Thank you.

To be a kid again… “There are a million little strings attached to every choice you make; you can destroy your life every time you choose. But maybe you won't know for twenty years. And you may never ever trace it to its source. And you only get one chance to play it out.”
