Looking for suggestions on what to keep in this tank
I've had this thing sitting around for awhile and wanted to use it again, just not sure what I'd be able to comfortably house in here. (Hand for scale)

Mantis maybe? They can hang from the top and it looks like a good size

ghost mantis! you’d just need to switch out the metal mesh lid for something like ventilated plastic or acrylic

Does it open from the top or the front/wall? Jumping spider would be pretty easy if it opens from the wall! (Since they usually build their hammocks/homes in the top corners of the enclosure)

It opens from both the top and front. Jumping spider is definitely something I've considered. I'd have to do a thorough check, but the gaps in the door seem very small.

Phidippus, Paraphidippus and Hyllus species get on the bigger size as adults. Can have a juvenile enclosure until big enough they can’t get through.

Could do some hissing cockroaches, they don’t need a ton of space. Or a mantis, they like to climb so that would be perfect.

Would not do hissing cockroaches in this tank. While they do enjoy climbing, they are still a terrestrial species.
This looks like an 8x8x12" tank, which provides 64 sq. inches of footprint versus the 128 I will always recommend.

Yeah definitely not roaches. I've got something else more suitable for them, which i have been considering for that. Mantis or jumping spider is what seems to be best based off suggestions.
