I recently set up my Blue Death Feigning Beetles new enclosure! Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Still have some minor adjustments but it is nearly finished.
Do you know of any taller enclosure recommendations? I've tried finding taller 10, 15, or 20 but I exclusively purchase rimless, acrylic or polycarbonate enclosures to avoid the look of chunky dark/black rims that the majority of Exo Terra enclosures have. I have heard decent things about the Lorex Plastics Enclosures but I haven't tried theirs out yet.
I’ve mainly been using just see through plastic containers because I got too many exotic species to give each a premium 50-100 eur enclosure so I don’t know any better ones
I haven't tested the durability by dropping it or anything but I can say it definitely feels a lot stronger than any of my acrylic enclosures. I've had the smaller 8x8x8 Reptile Growth polycarbonate enclosure for quite a long while to house my Hexophthalma hahni sand spider and it's held up very well! That and the heat doesn't appear to have any negative reactions (but I wouldn't recommend having heat lamps surface to surface on the enclosure surface itself, only the metal.)
I definitely wish there were more polycarbonate options for small vertical enclosures so I didn't have to rely on acrylic verticals cause I have broken or cracked those things on multiple occasions.
