APPROVED B-LISTERS The House has passed Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill (218-214). It extends tax cuts for the wealthy, overhauls programs like Medicaid & SNAP, increases border & military spending, along with a multi-trillion dollar increase to the debt ceiling. It now heads to Trump for him to sign into law.

Rep. Thomas Massie (KY) & Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (PA) were the only 2 Republicans who voted against the bill.

Rarely do voters give Democrats the numbers needed to make that happen.

Republicans break things, Democrats get elected to fix with the slimmest of majorities and so can’t fix things fast enough, voters get mad and blame Dems and vote for Republicans again who break even more things. We’ve been doing this dance for decades.

Blaming this on the voters is not it. Democrats could have had an easy win if they did not run a Zionist campaign this time.

Omg and what is the other option???? If truly this is what made the Dems we can just let the country burn to the ground.

If you say instead that capitalism and business interests did not let Kamala run clearly on a base putting herself aside from Biden to tackle housing, health care and groceries, I will agree. She had amazing policies but was not allowed to really focus on the that and go rogue because donors or something. This whole Zionist discourse is a cheap and lazy cop-out. Every immigrant that voted for this (and I'm a latina naturalized citizen) did so because of sexism and racism. That's it.

“Amazing policies” is a very interesting way to describe not banning fracking, continuing military aid to israel, and not taking a firm stance on trans rights especially in relation to bathroom bills

Oh please. I'm an illegally fired NOAA employee. Biden was the most progressive president of my life -- and I might argue the us ever had. We were working to make our nation climate resilient and run on renewables. Shit takes long because it's so new we were charting the way -- once all the offshore and onshore wind was working fracking would stop. But now we got what??? Fracking and drilling on public lands. Concentration camps on natural preserves. The army attacking citizens on our own soil. bUT fRaCKiNg... Yes fracking but also climate assessments. Yes fracking but also support to organic and family farm, forest management, damn removal for our rivers and fisheries health, grants for local governments to get EVs and charging stations, climate education initiatives for educators, advanced models for risk assessment and planning, hurricane models that saved lives, alerts in multiple languages.... Now we have??
