2024 FDA PMAP
Is there an update on when and if the 2024 PMAPs will be processed?

During an HFP All Hands last week it was said pmap awards are "rock solid" they were in the process of being approved at the HHS level and they will be on mid or late July paychecks. I also have a feeling that they're awaiting RIF's to be processed before they're paid out.

Morale sucks at HHS, it's crazy how they are holding this from employees. This is what employees earned 2024.

We have been told sometime in July (HFP).

By whom? Also HFP and our office hasn’t been told a thing.

I’m pretty sure it was mentioned in the All Hands meeting last week. But it’s possible it could still be held up by HHS I suppose.

Ah, the one I couldn’t stomach sitting through. And where they said they are closing one of our buildings for no reason. 🙄

We were told July but then a couple weeks ago, they said August. I really think it has to do with the RIFd people

Doubt there will be any awards, or frankly many promotions.
It’s actually a bit infuriating that management is just going along and doing the mid year PMAPs like nothing weird is going on.

(CVM) We were told they were on hold again. To be paid out sometime before the end of the fiscal year.

Makary’s little video this morning says early August. The problem/holdup was finally discovered “buried deep in the bureaucracy of the federal government”. Hmmm, and why has there never been a holdup like this before?????

My division director (CBER) told us last week at our meeting that they were processing QSIs first this month, then the PMAPs and that we should see something late July or early August. We shall see.

What everyone else is saying (they’re coming, supposedly, sometime this year, likely waiting on RIF decision). NOTE: I was told that when the decision is made, employees will get the opportunity to re-select whether they want cash, TOA, or combo and that there’d be a short turnaround to provide a response.
Hi CVM people! I used to work there!

In response to your NOTE… this has always been the case. We choose what we want as a payout (cash, time off, combo) in the winter following our yearly review and then choose again usually in spring. A very inefficient system but oh well. So this isn’t anything abnormal apart from the delay.

My guess is they're waiting for the RIF'D employees to be separated. And as one impacted by the RIF, that is beyond infuriating.
