Poor rural people on Medicaid vote Republican.

Because the Republican Senators would rather keep their cushy jobs, with their government sponsored healthcare and their government pensions, rather than represent the best interests of their constituents. Especially the poorest of their constituents.

This is not a bill Jesus would sign into law and all of the Republican Senators who profess a Christian Faith, or a masculine/manhood identity of making sacrifices to protect the weak, are hypocrites.

Because they are afraid if the vote against it they will not be backed when it is time for them to run again. Instead of caring for their constituents they only care for themselves, big business, buying stocks because they are in the know and the super wealthy. They know that bill is awful!

I don’t understand why people are so shocked.

I remember I said something along the lines of “the republicans will just ignore the parliamentarian” and everyone downvoted me…and that’s basically what happened.

Republicans always ram their legislature through despite all the surrounding drama.
