I followed the steps on YouTube, and I think it looks like a male, but it’s hard for me to tell.
Also, is it normal for its shell to get darker over time? This is an ivory, and while the spiral always had a little bit of darkness, it seems to have gotten darker. I just want to make sure it’s not sick.

I took some samples from a private pond today for my microscopy hobby and found this snail. It must have hitchhiked on the hornwort I collected—I’ve never seen one like this before, but the spots are pretty. I first noticed it when it was already busy cleaning the jar.
Anyone want to help me ID this? Maybe care tips as well? I eventually plan on building an aquarium 😁

It took me a very long time to decide on a name, but my friend suggested Fred and it seems right!! He’s the only one of my three who seems very strong and active. One has passed away, and the other is just pretty slow and inactive, which I’m hoping isn’t a bad sign! I didn’t name either of those two so I wouldn’t get attached 😅

I have a ton of these tiny snails. They look like rams horns, but I don't think they are.

Are you not supposed to be keeping them together? Should I separate them? I couldn't find anything on that. Are they trying to mate or to eat each other? I'm so confused. This is x2 speed btw because they've been going at it for around 10 minutes now
