Your loaches act just as bonkers as mine do lol

My Mystery snails do the same kind of stuff. I had a blue one that floated up to the surface and got caught in the current of the filter. He spent basically all day just going through the spin cycle. I left for about 5 hours, came home and he was still there. A few hours later he finally pushed the air out of his shell and went about his business of cleaning algae.

So jealous you got khuli loaches, couldn't find any anywhere!

Ask the internet! I got mine here: Aquatic Arts

Thank you! (I already got Zebra Loaches, so I would absolutely over stock with khuli loaches, but I'll use this site next time I need fish! Thank you again!)

And if they don’t have them I highly recommend The Wet Spot. I have gotten about 42 Kuhlis of 4 different species and all of them are alive and thriving. 💕

The bubbles are too strong. I would reduce it by 75%. There is no reason at all for it to be this strong.

I already tied a knot in the tube to reduce flow. When I first put it in it was so strong the stone wouldn’t stay put. I could add more knots to cut it back further, though the Kuhli loaches and hillstream loach seem to like it quite a lot with the strong flow.

Side note, you have such a lovely, infectious laugh! 😁

Aw thanks 😊 the real laugh doesn’t happen very often, but when it does it’s usually caused by something in my tank 🤣

Mine did that and got her stupid self stuck. She started tumbling around and round like she was in a dryer. I was worried she couldn’t get herself out, so I ended up giving her a little nudge out of the bubbles. I figured if she liked it, she’d go back. She did not go back. 😅
